NAP – North American Pairs
Finals During Sectional at Engineers Hall in Burnaby Nov 12 Click Here

Each club can hold two NAP (North American Pairs) games per sanctioned session during each of the months of June, July and August. These games award 100% sectional rated half red/half black masterpoints.
The NAP event has been a major ACBL pair championship since 1979 and was originally known as the Grand National Pairs. This grassroots event is staged in qualifying rounds at the club, unit and district levels. It culminates in a final held in conjunction with the Spring NABC, which will be held in Memphis TN in 2012. The contest is run as a flighted event: Flight A (open), Flight B (fewer than 2000 masterpoints as of the June 2011 masterpoint cycle) and Flight C (non-Life Master with fewer than 500 masterpoints as of June 2011). Please check your June 2011 Bridge Bulletin for your masterpoint total.

Everyone has good days and bad days. But everyone has an average level of play. When I find Power Ratings for everyone player that I have data for, about 166,000 players, I prove they are correct by using this formula. Only players who meet the minimum requirements are considered rated and can be found in the Power Rating leader tables. You need 11 games with rated partners other than your favorite partner, (the rated partner you have the most games with).

New NABC On-Line Partnership Desk is Up and Running!
One of the ACBL's web programming gurus has created an alternative to replace Hipard’s on-line partnership desk. It is in a different format than Hipard's, but, we hope you will find it to be just as user friendly. To begin using the new on-line partnership desk, you will need to first register, by creating a username and password, as you did before. Once logged in, you will choose the masterpoint range and post the event(s) in which you need a partner. After you register, you can also look through those that have already posted. Please click Here -->> to go directly to the new on-line partnership desk.
